Jennifer Hudson’s Whitney Houston Tribute: Nailed It, or Disappointing?

In the past 24 hours, Hollywood has gone through a whirlwind of emotions, but none as intense as the crowd’s reaction to Jennifer Hudson as she sang a Whitney Houston tribute at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

With Houston’s untimely and sudden death, combined with the questions surrounding Whitney Houston’s cause of death, so many questions and emotions abound amongst the celebrity set and Whitney fans and friends alike. So when Hudson stepped onto the stage, donning an appropriate and classic black dress and a typical Whitney ‘do, and began to belt out the introductory notes to “I Will Always Love You,” there appeared to be seldom a dry eye in the crowd. Whitney Houston touched so, so many lives with her music and her life, so the death—just a short day ago—has touched everyone in the audience.
