Remember back in the day when rumor had it that Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart were fussing, feuding, and fighting? Or at least dissing each other? Well, the truth is that nothing could be further from the truth. KStew was overjoyed at Lawrence’s Oscar triumph. She couldn’t have been happier for her.

“When they announced Jen’s name, Kristen was so happy and cheering for her!” tattled an Oscars eyewitness. “She was going crazy in her seat.”

“They’ve hung out a bunch,” mused a friend of both young stars. “They’re funny together.”

In fact, Lawrence and Stewart have actually become BFFs. They hung out together at last year’s Toronto Film Festival. They even partied with Harry Potter star Emma Watson at a Soho House after party last September.

“They’re just three girls having a quiet chat after a long day and an even longer night working,” revealed the Soho House Group founder.

Interestingly, KStew and JLaw communicated with each other through emails long before they actually met face to face. According to an inside source, they’re “big fans of each other.” That fact was corroborated by La Lawrence.

“I wrote her an email because there was this huge, like, article about a Twilight and Hunger Games feud,” JLaw explained. “And we’ve never met before and never spoken. I just shot her an email, and was like, ‘Hey, can’t wait to see more as this feud unfolds!’ [Kristen] wrote me back, and she was like, ‘It’s fine. Welcome to [our] world where everything you say gets turned into [something it's not].’ So, she understood.”

So, there you have it. The folks at Hollywood Life think Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart should team up as co-stars in a movie someday. What do you think?

Note: Perhaps they could do a reboot of Thelma and Louise with Robert Pattinson in the Brad Pitt role.
