Jennifer Love Hewitt loves her breasts; so much so in fact, the 33-year-old American actress was less than pleased to learn that the powers-that-be over at Lifetime decided to do some rather drastic digital breast reduction on her shots for The Client List — and without her permission.
“Some magazines and websites wanted something a little tamer,” reports an anonymous source to E! Online.
That’s just a little surprising considering the main plot surrounding the show — mom needs money, gets job, finds out it’s a shady massage parlour, and starts making bank. Not exactly your moral high road — and loosely based on a true story, no less.
Hewitt recently spoke with radio personalities “Kevin & The Bean” at KROQ, who expressed her shock at the sudden… er… downgrade.
“I just heard about this yesterday. Somebody sent me a copy of the photograph and I was like, ummm… What happened? I’m not quite sure what’s going on. But apparently somebody wanted me to have a boob reduction,” she tells KROQ.
“The thing that’s even crazier is that usually when they do that stuff I had to see the photograph before they went out anywhere and I was never sent a new version of it. I don’t know what happened… at least they [Entertainment Weekly] still ran the ad and they’ve been very kind to us.”
What do you think? Do the size of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s breasts have anything to do with bringing in viewers? Or is this simply a PR stunt to bring more attention to the show? Whatever the case, some 2.6 million viewers tuned in to watch JLH in action for the premiere earlier in the week.
