Jermaine Paul Stays Mum in ‘The Voice’s’ Christina Aguilera-Adam Levine Feud

Jermaine Paul, season two winner of The Voice, is staying relatively mum where Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine’s feud is concerned. He prefers to believe that Adam and Christina actually love one another.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Paul was asked if he believed the feud had any impact on his win.

“I don’t pay attention to any of that,” Jermaine said. “Tony Lucca is an amazing artist, Chris Mann is an amazing artist, and Christina and Adam are both great coaches.”

Jermaine believes that Juliet Simms was in fact his biggest rival all along, and that’s exactly what it came down to at the end of the show.

“I’m sure when America made their choice, it is what it is… I thought my biggest rival was Juliet Simms, and it so happened that’s the way it turned out. It was both of us at the end,” he says.

It sort of sounds like Jermaine Paul is either ignoring the fact that the feud could have lent itself to his win, or he’s just such a good guy he wants only to believe the best about everyone involved.

“They put so much hard work and effort in this process, and I think at the end of the day, they really love each other,” he says of Adam and Christina. “It’s like sisters and brothers. I have nine brother and sisters, so I understand the dynamic.”

What’s your take? Is Jermaine Paul staying mum out of conviction or disillusionment?
