Jessica Linscott Turns State’s Evidence

Jessica Linscott and Roland Dow evaded authorities for 2 weeks, only to be captured at Universal Studios, after abandoning Linscott’s badly beaten 3-year-old son at Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire. It is believed that Dow caused the injuries to James, while his mother did nothing to stop or report the burns or the beatings that led to seizures and a traumatic brain injury.

Linscott is expected to testify as a witness for the state in the case against Dow, who is charged with first-degree assault, and, if convicted on all charges, could face 30 to 90 years in prison. He is being held on $500,000 bond and jury selection for his trial is to begin April 29th.

Jessica Linscott is also being held on $100,000 bond for endangering the welfare of a child, but she feels she should be released from jail, prior to her June 3rd court date. She will be appearing in court to make this request on Wednesday.

Was Linscott really innocent in her son’s abuse? It has previously been reported that she had anger issues and had attended anger management classes, but it seems she is claiming she just stood by while her boyfriend horribly abused her son. What kind of mother does that? Why didn’t she stop him? Apparently, there will be an expert testifying as to her state of mind during the abuse and why she fled with Dow. That oughta be good…
