Right after the AI semi-finals ended, Jessica Sanchez found out she is going to perform first on the American Idol 2012 finale.
But how did she know this right after the hit show went off the air during the semi-finals that sent Joshua Ledet home?
Because Phillip Phillips won the traditional American Idol coin toss that was held right after the top two were determined. And because double Phil chose to sing last, that put Sanchez on first come next Wednesday when these two top warblers compete against each other to win the TV talent show.
So, does the decision by her cohort put Jessica in a bad position at such a crucial time?
Probably not much, if not at all.
Although, traditionally, the bigger the talent the later in the program their talent appears, this particular roster is one that is much more contest than it is concert. That said, Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips will bring the kind of cheering and screaming that would be heard anywhere in the world when top acts do their thing.
That said, do you think Jessica Sanchez will beat Phillip Phillips as the winner of American Idol for 2012 next week or do you think the end result will be the other way around? Who is your favorite to take the intense AI competition this year? Thoughts? Thanks.
