Jessica Simpson’s new beauty website with Hollywood-based celebrity aesthetician, Nerida Joy, has just launched today! BeautyMint, a subsidiary of BeachMint, focuses on anti-aging skincare. Subscribers to the social commerce site will get a scheduled monthly delivery of personalized skincare products (chosen by Jessica and Nerida) to their front door every month. Read: Never run out of a product when you’re going through a breakout. What’s not to love about that?
Jessica Simpson’s BeautyMint site boasts some impressive features: take a free skincare consultation which delves into your skin issues and lifestyle to determine your perfect personalized skincare regimen, and upload your photo to the skin visualizer to see yourself “before” and “after”; you’ll see your results from using BeautyMint over time! Plus, the site strives to educate you: watch videos on the science behind their products (like aloe vera for hydration, marine collagen for an amino acid boost, and arnica flower extract, which reduces inflammation and soothes the skin).
How BeautyMint Works
The site, which just launched today, is simple to use: Take the free skincare consultation, see your results in the form of recommended just-for-you products, and sign up for monthly delivery. Products fall under different categories: cleanse, enhance, hydrate and target, so subscribers know their skin is getting the right care no matter what stage it’s in. Each product listing even includes a list of ingredients and explains how they help keep your skin healthy, along with a short video where Nerida describes the benefits of the product. Subscribers can request to receive their products sooner if they run out faster than they anticipated, or even skip a month if they have more left over.
Get Your Jewelry, Tee, and Shoe Fix, Too
The BeachMint mission offers an e-commerce subscription service and teams up an industry expert with a celebrity icon, and then gives a subscriber tailored pieces chosen just for them (via style quizzes on the site) by the talented creators of the site. Users pay a $29.99 subscription per month and receive new pieces like accessories or apparel each month.
Other sites under BeachMint ownership includes: JewelMint, a luxury jewelry collection that brings together Kate Bosworth and celebrity stylist Cher Coulter, StyleMint, an on-trend t-shirt company created by designing duo Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and most recently, ShoeMint, which will exude Rachel Bilson’s style with help from her stylist, Nicole Chavez. Shoewear designer Steve Madden is also in on the ShoeMint craze, partnering with Bilson and Chavez. The ShoeMint site launch date is set for the holiday season, 2011.
