There, emblazoned on this 19-year-old athlete’s chest, is a judge inking of three stars surrounding a sun, the JR Celski tattoo that resembles the Philippine flag.
The skater’s win in the 1500 short track speed skating event is impressive, for sure, but so is his giant tat worn with pride by this Salt Lake City athlete who wants the world to know how much he loves his Asian background and his familial country of The Philippines.
