Julianne Hough is too sexy for television. At least, her latest music video for Is That So Wrong is. The video has been out for a couple of months now, but it is now being yanked from online video sites like Vevo and YouTube. It is also no longer on rotation on CMT, which is the country music station owned by MTV.

Why is the video by Julianne Hough now being banned and pulled from the airwaves and the Internet this weekend? There are conflicting stories. At a recent concert, the singer and actress said the following about the video being pulled: “This next song – funny story. I shot a music video for it … and [CMT] kind of banned it. Apparently I was taking off too many clothes as I was dancing across my bedroom. But I don’t know – I kind of liked it.”

Yes, the word is from the singer herself that the network didn’t like seeing her dance around in her underwear. However, CMT says a different story. According to CNN, it is a contract dispute between CMT and YouTube and Vevo that has caused the video to disappear. It was also pulled from other sites online on Friday as well. CMT states that “when the negotiations are resolved the video will go back on the air.”

There are worse things on the air than a woman dancing around in her underwear. Television has changed a great deal in recent years. Things that were once considered taboo and not to be shown on television at all are now commonplace. Julianne Hough’s video is not too much, but some might say otherwise. It is a matter of personal opinion.

Check out Julianne Hough’s music video. What do you think? Too hot for air or is that just plain silly? With the video being out since the end of the summer, the contract dispute seems more likely. Go here for the latest in entertainment news and gossip.
