Just Because, 1/23/14, Gather Writing Essentials (late)

In my heart I am listening to applause

No need to wonder why I hear it

Or what I’ve accomplished

I loved you and that’s the reason,  just because

Just because you asked me to be your wife

And my answering yes , I was smart

We began together so in love with one heart

I never could have imagined a better life

Now you are missing and that gives me pause

For I know you are watching me from afar

I hear you singing Wishing on A Star

And I’m grateful for that sound, just because

I love you still and I will write poems for any cause

Your absence brings a tear to these old eyes

My poetry writing repeats I love you , no surprise

And for those that read them, thank you, just because

e first rule to remember is to include the word “just because”1/23/2014″ somewhere in the title. A second rule is to be sure to tag it with Thurs WE, 1/23/14, just because.
