Justin Bieber Gets Sixth Tattoo–What Will Selena Gomez Say?

Filed in Gather Celeb News Channel by on July 5, 2012 0 Comments

Justin Bieber obviously didn’t listen to David Letterman during his recent appearance on the late night T.V. legend’s show. Letterman started giving the teen idol grief about his tattoos which then numbered only five. Only? In true “old fuddy-duddy” fashion, Letterman scolded Justin for what he considered an excessive amount of ink. Justin rather perfunctorily but politely muttered something about “probably not getting any more tatts” in the future. Well, Letterman had better get ready to have another cow, because JB didn’t keep his “promise.” In fact, on July 4, the Biebs was spotted sporting his sixth tattoo.

Selena Gomez’s man’s new tatt is a small “Japanese Kanji symbol which means ‘Music.’ It’s on the inside of his right forearm. The Kanji symbol “music” tattoo is Justin’s sixth installment of permanent body art. Just last month he got his inner left forearm inked with the name of his album, BELIEVE, in large block letters. He also sports the Hebrew word for Jesus on his ribcage below his left armpit, a large “classic pic” of Jesus on his left leg, a pair of praying hands on his left calf right below the Jesus portrait tattoo, and a Jonathan Livingston seagull image on his left hip. The seagull tatt is “inked on many of the male members of the Bieber clan as a family tradition.” His father, Jeremy Bieber has the same tattoo.

So, there you have it. If Justin Bieber continues to get his body permanently decorated at this rate, his new nickname will be “The Illustrated Man.” Poor David Letterman.

So far, there’s been no feedback from Selena Gomez about Justin’s new tattoo. It will be interesting to hear how she feels about it. And speaking of La Gomez, what ever became of the rumor that she and her uber famous beau were going to get matching body ink? Did she chicken out?
