Justin Bieber Getting Drunk Nightly with The Wanted — What Will Selena Gomez Say? (Video)

Does Justin Bieber have some ‘splainin’ to do, or is it the guys of The Wanted who owe JB an explanation and an apology? Remember how The Wanted guys wanted to take Biebs out to the pubs and get him drunk? Well, they succeeded. Or did they? Well, they said they did. In a recent interview, one of them inadvertently let the cat out of the bag when he revealed that JB has been out drinking with them many times now that he’s in the UK. And they implied that he got royally wrecked. Yikes.

Lest the Parents’ Television Council and other “morality” watchdog groups get their panties in a bunch, the legal drinking age in England is 18. So, if Justin did indeed tie one—or many—on with The Wanted guys, he broke no laws. As you can see on the video below, The Wanted boys let Biebs’ secret slip at about the 0:46 mark. While praising Scooter Braun, they mention how he’s been so “PG with Justin because he’s underage and can’t drink.” They go on to dish that since the Biebs has been in the UK, he’s been out with them “drinking his head [off]—he’s like ‘Yes!'” Yikes. Which is exactly what the boys no doubt thought collectively when they remembered that they were being taped and that some people who’d be upset by their comments might be watching—people like JB’s mother, Pattie Mallette. Or his girlfriend, Selena Gomez. After all, getting drunk in bars often leads to other types of adult behavior. So they tried to cover their (and JB’s) tracks. Not very well, but they tried. It was obvious that they were lying, of course, but at least they tried.

So, there you have it. Enjoy the video below. Do you think Justin Bieber has really been getting drunk the past few days in the UK where it’s legal for 18-year-olds to buy and consume alcohol? Or do you think The Wanted guys were joking from the start?

Note to The Wanted: Loose lips sink ship. Just saying.
