It’s official: Justin Bieber is the Artist of the Year. That’s right, at last night’s American Music Awards; Bieber was crowned as favorite artist. This made the teen heartthrob the youngest ever to take the AMA’s Artist of the Year award of the night home.

Not only did the 16-year-old land favorite artist, but he also won every other award he was nominated for as well. Basically, it was a night of award show perfection for Justin Bieber.

Now, as most know the AMA’s don’t just hand out Artist of the Year trophies to just anybody. Bieber had to beat out some very heavy hitters for the top award including, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Usher, and Katy Perry. Now, if that’s not enough to make a guy feel good about himself, then nothing will.

According to MSN, Bieber also won breakthrough artist, favorite pop/rock male and pop/rock album as well. This brought Bieber’s total awards to an impressive number four.

The cutie singer gushed, “Truly I don’t know how this is possible because I’ve been singing Eminem since I was three and Usher is my mentor. So this is big.”

Wow, that has to make Bieber feel so great about himself. To beat out names like Eminem and Lady Gaga shows that Justin Bieber is more than just a pretty face. He is a truly talented singer and performer. Hopefully, he will continue to keep his head on straight, and be a great role model to his young fans.

Congratulations to Justin Bieber for his amazing night.
