It’s difficult to pick apart whats truth and rumor these days in the life of one young singer, Justin Bieber.  Over the past month or so we’ve seen all sorts of Twitter and blog cruelty hurled at the youngster.  These include people starting up rumors that Bieber had died, or contracted syphilis, or was pregnant.  None of those were true, but now the latest celeb gossip may be, as it concerns the Justin Bieber mom, Pattie Lynn Mallette, and her potential nude photo spread for Playboy magazine.

Justin’s mom Pattie is 34-years-old now, and obviously is getting some nice “kickbacks” for being the mother of a famous pop singer that girls scream for.  However, it looks like she can cash in on the fame even more than just being the one who gave birth to Bieber.  Now she can get money for her own work.

However, there’s the flipside, and that is that Bieber is still a youngster.  Biebs still isn’t old enough to vote or drink in the United States, although he may have downed some Cris with Usher over in Canada.  Having his mom’s topless Playboy pics all over the internet could really be something Bieber would hate.  Or he might be the type of kid that supports his mom in what she does.

The rumors seem to have been dispelled for now, as ZackTaylor.ca has reported that she would get a proposed $50K for appearing topless.  They provided updates:

UPDATE 1:  According to Justin’s rep., his mom WILL NOT be accepting Playboy’s  offer.

UPDATE 2: Justin’s mom just wrote on her Twitter, “PLAYBOY!? Heavens No, HELL NO! Heavens AND Hell NO! Thx but no thx!”

Seems like she’s got her head on straight, and besides why would she even need a measly $50,000?  I’m sure that’s what Bieber puts in her Christmas stocking on December 25th along with some candy canes and Justin Bieber trading cards.

What do you think, would Justin Bieber’s mom posing for Playboy be morally wrong based on her son’s career and his age?  Or is it ok for her to do as she pleases as a legal adult?
