Kanye West is preparing to release his next album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” on November 22nd, but ahead of that release comes this short film from the rapper titled “Runaway” with music taken from his upcoming release. He premiered the short film on Wednesday, October in London at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

The thirty-five minute short film is reported to have five scenes but very little dialogue. According to MTV, Kanye introduced the short film by saying the following: “‘Purple Rain’, [Pink Floyd's] ‘The Wall’, Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ — I wanted to do a modern version of that.”

Fans outside the UK will get a premiere of the short film within two weeks, and it will be included as part of the album. Sounds like he is set to once again take the world by storm with his fifth album release. Can he repair his damaged repuation in the process? Time well tell!

Hey, hey, we’re the Monkees … yes, fans will soon be hearing that once again as the 60s group has plans to reunite and tour once again. The last time the group performed together was in 1997, and reunion rumors last popped up a year ago, but Davy Jones quickly shot down the rumors then saying there was no plans to tour. He made it sound like there wouldn’t even be plans either. Sounds like he changed his tune.

According to Ace Showbiz, Jones said the following: “We’re talking about doing a tour next year with The Monkees. There’s talk about a show with dialogue. My thing is I just don’t want to get on stage with a bunch of old guys.”

Sounds like they want their television back to the stage. Davy, don’t forget you are one of those old guys at sixty-four! What do you think? Would you want to see The Monkees on stage? Go here for the latest in entertainment news and gossip.
