Kara DioGuardi, singer and former American Idol judge, is set to release her memoir next year, leaving fans to wonder if she will address how she felt about being dumped from American Idol, and not being told about it. It should be an interesting read, and with the title being “A Helluva High Note: Surviving Life, Love, And American Idol“, fans have to wonder about other dirt Kara will be spilling.

She has been a co-writer for artists such as Pink, Kelly Clarkson, and another former Idol judge by the name of Paula Abdul. The thoughts on working with these artists ought to be juicy to say the least, and leaves us wondering how controversial the new book will be. Generally, when someone releases their memoirs, feelings wind up getting hurt, and it’s doubtful “A Helluva High Note: Surviving Life, Love, And American Idol” will be any different.

Kara DioGuardi will be returning to the role of judge, but not for American Idol. She will be judging singer/songwriters on a new show in 2011 called Going Platinum. The new show sounds like it is going to be what American Idol should have been or at least become. Going Platinum will also be hosted by Jewel.
