The big talk of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars seems to be surrounding Karina Smirnoff and her partner, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino.
During last night’s performance, the couple danced the quick step and it was a vast improvement from week one. However, Sorrentino has a long way to go. Sure, he’s not a ballroom dancer, and he’d probably be getting his GTL (gym, tanning, laundry) on with MVP (Mike, Vinny, Pauly), finding girls who are DTS (down to smash), but should we be giving him more credit for trying?
When he talks to Brooke Burke during the after dance interview, it’s like he puts his pigeon toe in his mouth. He doesn’t speak eloquently, and it’s just weird seeing him in a more professional context. But at the same time, this is what the show is all about. If everyone was a natural (Jennifer Grey), there would be no point to watching, right?
