Kate Middleton and Prince William have been married for over a year, and the world has been anticipating the moment when there would be news of a royal heir on the way. Apparently, it is not only the world hoping for news that Princess Catherine is pregnant. The Queen is also anxious and has put a little bug in Kate’s ear to get on with the baby making business!
A source dishes on the intimate details and says, “The Queen’s told Kate to make starting a family a priority.” Past Royals have managed to get pregnant within the first year of marriage, which has put a little pressure on Will and Kate, but they are not on anybody else’s schedule but their own. Not to mention, the couple was expected to support the Queen during her Diamond Jubilee year.
If Kate was to announce a pregnancy before the big event, it would take away some of the Queen’s thunder. And, Kate would be forced to step out with a burgeoning baby belly for numerous appearances. The couple will be traveling this summer as well, on behalf of the queen, which could be difficult during pregnancy.
The Queen is not getting any younger and has reportedly told William, “not to let Royal duties get in the way of a family and his happiness.” Will has recently revealed his wishes to have a baby, but these things take time. It has got to be extremely nerve-wracking to have millions of people speculating about your sex life and probably does not help matters any.
In the meantime, the royal couple is tossing around baby names and have picked a name for a girl. “If it’s a girl her middle names will be Elizabeth after Wills’ grandmother and Diana after his mother.” Hopefully, Kate Middleton will be able to get pregnant when she is ready and can simply live in the moment and not worry about keeping to the world’s schedule.
