Katy Perry has returned to Los Angeles after performing several concerts overseas. These concerts were indeed her first set of public appearances after the announcement that her husband of the past 14 months had filed for divorce. And sure enough, he wasn’t there to greet her as she put her feet back on American soil. The blue-haired star left the LAX airport quickly, wearing grey clothing and keeping a low profile. She wore sunglasses to hide her eyes, despite landing at night.

He has moved out while she was away, so she may be coming home to a partially empty home. However, just because she looked relaxed and calm as she came home, the singer who performed happily for her fans over the weekend tweeted her fans when she came home. “‘Btw, I have *kissed* 1 boy, picked randomly out of the audience, on the cheek as a part of my show for all 125 tour dates. Simmer down now,” Katy Perry wrote in response to the pictures of her kissing a fan on the cheek.

Reports claim that Katy tried to reconcile with Russell Brand, but he didn’t want to hear it. Sources close to the star share that she is working hard to avoid spending time pondering what happened to her marriage. “Katy is really trying to keep herself busy, she wants to work. It’s what makes her most happy. I think she’s relieved to be away from all of this,” a source close to Katy explained earlier this month.

Despite working lots, Katy will have to address her pain and work through the divorce if she is indeed as heartbroken as reports claim. Working too much can only result in her crashing in a few months, because the emotional baggage she will drag around with her. Perhaps a 125-stop tour isn’t exactly what she needs now.
