About once a week, I make some dishes from a different region of the world (either an area I love or an area I hardly know and want to learn more about). A few weeks ago I chose Kazakhstan. I grilled some Haloumi cheese, made some red rice and carrots, and some naan (flatbread). I burned the carrots (that's why there are so few on the plate), but other than that, everything was delicious. And for dessert, I had an apple and some green almonds (which reminds me of lychee).
