Kendra Wilkinson says she couldn’t resist Hef’s 80 year old puppy eyes (video)

Kendra Wilkinson was on the Today Show hour 4 talking about her new book and what it was like to be in Hugh Hefner’s Playboy mansion harem at the tender age of 18.

Although the interview touched on various topics in its 4 minutes, The Huffington Post picked up the video and published an excerpt from the book that describes her being in Hef’s orbit on that fateful night she decided to join the company.

“The whole evening, Hef and I kept staring at each other. It wasn’t a physical attraction for me, but he was just so cool. The way he acted and the things he said were unlike anything I had seen or heard before… “Will you be my girlfriend?” he asked again before I left. There was only one thing I could say: “Um, okay.”

This while her current boyfriend her own age was waiting outside the mansion in his car. This shows the nerve Hugh Hefner has, asking an obviously star-struck 18 year old in a relationship if he can be her “boyfriend.” Ugh… how did she stand it?
Of course, she dances around the issue in interviews, always deflecting the question with the standard self-promoting answer, “you’ll have to read the book” that invariably becomes a defense for not talking about something in depth unless cash is attached. Did she even write the book? I seriously doubt it.
I feel sorry for her husband, Hank Baskett, Jr., who’s obviously trying to distance himself from the whole sordid affair and trying to have his own happy marriage to a woman he clearly loves very deeply. The mother of his child. Let it go Kendra!
I won’t be reading the book, since I’m certain it’s filled with many accounts of Hef’s lecherous behavior hypnotizing impressionable young women into agreeing to become ONE of his girlfriends. Not my kind of subject.
How about you? Let me know with a comment below.
