Kevin Hart to Host March 2nd ‘SNL’

Kevin Hart will host this weekend’s episode of SNL. This is the very first time hosting Saturday Night Live for this actor and comedian, who is known for roles in films like Scary Movie 3 and Along Came Polly, in addition to his stand up work.

According tkevin Harto a report from The Huffington Post, Hart hosted last year’s MTV Movie Awards. He starred in a recent episode of Modern Family. And he doesn’t like to look people in the eye. The last of these tidbits likely proved difficult when rehearsing for Saturday’s show.

“So this process here is a little different. … A lot of people came in the room and were looking into my eyes and it threw me off a little bit,” he said of his rehearsals this week. “So I just closed my eyes and let them talk and kind of took it all in. And then I recited everything they said.”

Hart shot SNL TV promotions with both Jason Sudeikis and Bobby Moynihan earlier in the week, and if the show is as funny as they are, then Kevin will walk away a hit.

Saturday Night Live will feature Macklemore & Ryan Lewis as the evening’s musical guests–creating a lineup of humor and talent that’s hard to beat. Their hit song Thrift Shop is presently at the top of the music charts.

Will you tune in to SNL on Saturday night to check out Kevin Hart’s first stint as host? Do you think the funny man has what it takes to compete with the likes of Alec Baldwin or Justin Bieber? How do you suppose the reviews will read on Sunday morning?
