Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom may have a rather unorthodox love story, given their quickie marriage and the shine of the reality TV show spotlight. But, three years after they tied the knot, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star and her basketball pro husband seem to still be getting along quite swimmingly, despite pesky rumors of relationship problems. They recently celebrated their third anniversary, and there’s one fellow star who is particularly fond of the couple.
“I can just really tell that they love each other and it’s difficult to say that in Hollywood because not a lot of things last,” Modern Family starlet Ariel Winter, 14, said of Kardashian and Odom at Teen Vogue‘s 10th annual Young Hollywood Party in Los Angeles, Calif. on Thursday, Sept. 27. “I don’t think they care about what other people think of their relationship. I think she’s just happy and that’s the way it should be—living her life not caring what anybody says,” she added, as Celebuzz reports.
Indeed, Khloe Kardashian like most celebrities has been forced to deal with her fair share of tabloid gossip. Fortunately, the constant scrutiny and paparazzi attention apparently hasn’t become too hot for her and Lamar Odom to handle. Her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian, have significantly different relationship styles than her, with Kourtney in a long-term partnership with boyfriend and the father of their two children, Scott Disick, and Kim working through her divorce with Kris Humphries and promising new love with Kanye West. Hopefully, they’ll all find happily ever after.
Winter may be young, but she obviously has strong opinions about what she finds as the perfect romance and how the “cute” Khloe and Lamar fit the bill. Of course, her perspective may change as she grows older, but in the meantime, she’ll evidently be following every move of her ideal “modern family;” one that’s cluttered with reality TV show cameras, fame games, paparazzi and even blended families with Odom’s kids, but that’s also packed with love.
