Kim Kardashian and her sisters are flipping out over a recent New York Post article that has insinuated that the Kardashian family’s fame is going downhill—and fast! Kim is so peeved about the Post’s article that she has decided to use her website to address her haters.
It seems odd that Kim and her sisters—Khloe, in particular—would get so overly defensive about these types of reports. The media has been claiming that the Kardashians are on their way out of the spotlight ever since Kim filed for divorce from Kris Humphries on Halloween, after only 72 days of marriage—can’t the family just go about their business (whatever that may be) and ignore these types of reports?
For Khloe Kardashian, the New York Post report was “the straw that broke the camel’s back.”
Kim Kardashian completely agrees with her sister and posted this statement on her personal website: “We face adversity every week and as you all know, we have always tried to take the high road and continue to work hard. But when the media try to manipulate things and write things that are untrue about our business ventures and our shows, it’s time to step in and correct the lies.”
Kim went on to say that it is hurtful the way people—particularly in the media—try to tear her family down by twisting the facts, as the writer of that particular New York Post article, Brian Niemietz, did.
Kim Kardashian said, “We understand that news organizations have to do their job and report on what they feel their readers want to know about, and we appreciate and respect the ones that actually do their homework and release accurate information.”
Kim says this Forbes article, which directly addresses all of the misinformation the Post reported, is far more accurate.
Of course, readers will choose to believe in whatever facts support their own personal opinions of the Kardashian family, regardless of whether the “facts” are actually factual. Those who love the Kardashians will continue to love them and, unfortunately for Kim Kardashian, her haters will just hate her more.
