Kim Kardashian got sexy for her Skechers ad that aired during Sunday’s Super Bowl, but was the commercial enough for people to go out and buy Skechers? Were you swayed one way or another to purchase these sneakers?
The purpose of most commercials and ads is to make the product desired by the audience. Since Kimmy K is pretty desirable herself, it was a good idea for Skechers to shell out millions for this Super Bowl ad. However, as much as people may have enjoyed the ad, did it really do much for the product?
You can see in the commercial below that Kim Kardashian “breaks up” with her trainer for her Shape-Ups, the Skechers workout sneakers that (supposedly) help tone your legs, thighs, and rear end just from you walking. However, the sneakers aren’t as eye catching as Kimmy K and with other more attractive sneakers on the market, that arguably do the same think (Reebok ReeTones, for example), you may wonder who will buy the Shape-Ups just because Kim is in the commercial.
