Now that the Kim Kardashian wedding is over, the details about the reception have hit. For starters, the bride changed into another gown (one of 2 for the reception). This one was a Vera Wang ivory Georgette mermaid-style gown with Chantilly Lace on the bodice and hand sewn organza petals on the skirt.

Kim Kardashian Wedding Reception Details Include 10 Layer Cake, 2 Gown ChangesRobin Thicke introduced the newlyweds as “Mr. and Mrs. Humphries.” Does this mean that Kim Kardashian will change her name? It seems unlikely, but stranger things have happened. The couple’s first dance was to Thicke’s Angels.

During the celebration, Bruce Jenner along well with Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie and Kendall all toasted the happy couple. Jenner’s quick toast said the evening was all about family (and it was, but also television too).

Wolfgang Puck made a delicious sounding food that consisted of buffalo mozzarella and heirloom tomato salad, roast chicken with Yukon gold potatoes and brussels sprouts with summer truffles. What a tasty sounding meal for the guests!

The wedding cake was enormous (enough to feed 440 guests). It stood 10 layers tall. The cake was swirled chocolate-and-vanilla with chocolate chips. That sounds just heavenly. After Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries cut the cake, guests were served their slice of the piece of heaven on a plate.

Kim Kardashian’s final gown of the evening was once again designed by Vera Wang. The third outfit was an ivory crepe-back, v-neck satin gown with a circle skirt that must have been great for dancing.

In all, the evening turned out to be a lot of fun for everyone involved. There were no disasters, and everybody appeared to have lots of fun. Now the couple is on to their “happily ever after.”

If you can’t wait to see footage of the fairytale wedding, tune into E! News tonight, Sunday, August 21 at 6:00pm ET to see a bit of what went on.
