Kourtney Kardashian is experiencing something many new mothers may face: weight gain after stopping breastfeeding. She says she’s put on about 10 pounds, in fact. This isn’t unusual. Some new moms actually lose weight when nursing ends, but others might pack on the pounds. Fortunately, little Mason’s mommy has a plan of attack to shed the excess!
Kourtney Kardashian took to her Twitter account on Monday, lamenting her weight gain, saying “Wow. I have gained almost 10 pounds since I stopped breast feeding. Time to step up my workout game…” She also gave a quick product endorsement, adding that she needs to “get over to Rite Aid for some Quicktrim!” Wait, what? What happened to slow, steady, healthy weight loss Kourtney? 10 pounds isn’t exactly a huge amount to lose – if you do it the right way, you can certainly keep it off permanently. Or at least until the next bambino arrives!
She can likely drop the excess weight quickly with diet and exercise. She mentions working out – stick to that plan. Running around after an active 16-month-old certainly can’t hurt either! Kourtney Kardashian is a gorgeous, seemingly naturally tiny person, so hopefully the process won’t take too long. The solution, though, isn’t in a magic pill. It involves hard work – even for a celebrity.
