Kristen Stewart has a horror of having to “jump right in” to a new movie role. “I would kill myself,” the actress says, “if I felt like I had to know exactly what I was going to say.” Does that mean memorizing lines and such? If so, that’s sort of a part of the job, isn’t it? But getting a chance to prepare for the role makes a huge difference, reports Hollywood Life.

“I worked on it for a while, soFile:Kristen Stewart by Gage Skidmore.jpg I was really lucky, I didn’t have to jump right in,” Kristen says of her title role in Snow White and the Huntsman. “I would have been terrified.” But pre-planning paid off for Kristen Stewart, so that she got comfortable in Snow White’s shoes. Or boots and suit of armor. “I felt really confident with it when I went into it. I didn’t feel like I was attached to specific lines and stuff.”

Besides learning her lines, there were a few other requirements for this particular action movie. Kristen learned to ride a horse. She even took lessons in how to handle a sword, sources report. And she worked on a different accent. British? The movie was filmed in England.

Some parts of the role must have been a big change from the Twilight films. Vampires aside, Kristen Stewart and Bella Swan had so much in common. They talked the same, they liked the same clothes. And they both had a thing for Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen. Stay tuned. SWATH opens June 1, and Breaking Dawn, Part 2 comes out in November.
