Kyron Horman has been missing for two years today. Last seen on June 4, 2010, the little boy was just 7 years old at the time of his disappearance. His dad Kaine Horman says his bedroom has been updated a bit, but is ready and waiting for him to come home.

According to a report from People.com, Kyron was last seen at the Skyline Elementary School in Portland, Oregon, where he was a student at the time he went missing. His former stepmother Terri Horman was the last one to see the child. WhiProfile Picturele she has never formally been named a person of interest in his disappearance, most people believe she was somehow involved.

Kaine Horman’s house is filled with things bearing Kyron’s name and his picture.

“I am not going to make a shrine for Kyron in my house, but I have stuff all over my house that has his face and name on it,” he says.

Kaine spends his weekends passing out t-shirts and flyers with Kyron’s face on them in hopes that someone will recognize the little boy and provide a clue to his whereabouts. Kaine has also updated Kyron’s room to what he expects the boy might like at his age.

“It makes me feel like I am keeping pace with him when I am updating stuff. It makes me feel like he is still there,” he says.

And while he understands that some people frown on what he’s done, he really doesn’t seem to care.

“What is right is completely up to me. He is my son,” Kaine says. “There is no playbook for how you are supposed to feel. There is no playbook for how you are supposed to heal from it. There is no playbook for what you are supposed to do. Everybody is different.”

Both of Kyron’s biological parents believe Terri Horman either had a hand in or knows about Kyron Horman’s disappearance. Mom Desiree Young recently filed a $10 million lawsuit claiming she has knowledge of Kyron’s whereabouts but won’t divulge the information. People work in different ways when their hearts are broken. Kaine Horman and Desiree Young have done things very differently but they come together on one main point. They both love and desperately miss their little boy and they need to know what happened to him.

When you first heard of Kyron Horman’s disappearance two years ago, did you expect two years would go by with no clue at all about his fate? Can you imagine being either Desiree Young or Kaine Horman and living that heart ache every single day of their lives?

Do you think Terri Horman does in fact know way more than she has admitted with regard to Kyron’s disappearance? Will she ever come forward and share what she knows with investigators and with Kyron’s parents?
