Lea Michele, Kelly Osbourne and More: What They Wore at PETA’s 30th Anniversary Gala and Humanitarian Awards
On September 25, PETA held its 30th Anniversary Gala. The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California was the setting for a star-studded event featuring well-dressed and passionate personalities.
The Fashion Patrol was on watch for what the celebrities were wearing. In light-colored attire were young actresses Sophia Bush and Lea Michele. Sophia wore a one-shouldered Reem Acra cocktail dress. The dress was not the most flattering to Sophia’s figure, what with the wide shoulder strap and loose waist. Sophia accessorized with Loree Rodkin earrings and a Judith Lieber clutch.
Lea Michele wore a close-fitting, champagne Jose Duran gown. Her Jimmy Choo heels were the same color as her dress. While the “Glee†star always has such a vibrant personality on the red carpet, and always flawless hair and make-up, this look seemed a bit too coordinated, almost bridal-gown-territory, with the matching dress and shoes.
Abbie Cornish was a pretty sight in her David Meister cocktail dress. The Australian actress showed off her figure in the black, one-shouldered frock. Eva Mendes was also there. She looked both relaxed and chic in red Lanvin.
The stand-out of the evening was Kelly Osbourne who continues to surprise us with a figure that gets more and more fit. Kelly tweeted that she was going for a, “Barbarella Barbie,†look which she achieved in a Simone metallic cut-out dress with a draped skirt. Her interesting hairstyle kept her chosen theme going.
