Fantasy Football owners hoping to get LeSean McCoy back in time for their playoffs will have to do without the superstar running back. The Philadelphia Eagles ruled out McCoy for their Week 14 game and announced he is headed File:LeSean McCoy 2.jpgto Pittsburgh to see a concussion specialist.

The site reports that McCoy has been very tired at nights and continues to exhibit concussion symptoms when active. He is having a very slow recovery from the head injury and it doesn’t look like he will take the field again this season.

However, for owners of his backup Bryce Brown, this is positive news heading into the fantasy football playoffs. While he still needs to work on his ball handling, suffering three fumbles in the last two games, his performance has been eye-opening for both the Eagles and fantasy football players.

Brown has run for 178 and 169 yards in the last two games with four touchdowns total. He is averaging over eight yards a carry, with 43 attempts in the two games. He also has eight receptions for 25 yards. Basically, since taking over for LeSean McCoy, Brown has become a fantasy football star.

The Eagles next three opponents are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Redskins. All three of those teams have tough rushing defenses, all ranking in the Top 11 in the NFL. His yardage totals might drop some, but Brown is still worth riding into the fantasy football playoffs.
