Lil Wayne Retiring: Is Weezy Taking Kanye West, Drizzy Drake Off His Last Album?

Lil Wayne is retiring from rap—or so he says. The YMCMB CEO said that his album “The Carter V” will be his last but will it also be different from the rest?

According to a new interview, it sounds as though Weezy will be taking Drizzy Drake and Kanye West off of his next album “I Am Not A Human Being II” and “The Carter V”. Why? Is he feuding with two of the rappers he collaborates with most?

Here’s what Wayne said about Drizzy Drake:

“He gave me one of them banging hooks, so I told him the hook was so amazing, he didn’t need to say nothing else on the album. I already know that song is probably gonna be one of the biggest songs on the album.”

So apparently Lil Wayne just wants Drake to do that one hook and nothing else, which seems a little strange since most of the songs Drake and Wayne do together become instant hits.

As for Kanye West, it’s a little more complicated. Apparently Yeezy wants to “package” Wayne’s next album but that doesn’t give any reason as to why Weezy took Kanye off all the tracks for “I Am Not A Human Being II”.

Obviously there’s a lot of weird stuff going on in Wayne’s world at the moment!

Do you think that Drizzy Drake and Lil Wayne are on the outs? Is Weezy sick of Drake’s “singing”?
