With the London 2012 closing ceremony scheduled for prime time TV coverage in the evening on NBC, those who want to watch it live streaming online can do so as well. This will be a great way to see the event as it actually occurs early Sunday evening. It’s unknown if Queen Elizabeth II will be arriving via helicopter and parachuting into the stadium, but anything could happen!
The live Olympics closing ceremony can be seen beginning at 4PM EST, thanks to the internet. NBC Olympics has been bringing video feeds of all events online for customers to watch free of charge. The same goes as these summer games come to a close on Sunday night. The televised broadcast will occur on NBC several hours later.
This special presentation online is being called “A Symphony of British Music” and is directed by Kim Gavin, who was responsible for the successful and historic Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium back in 2007. Some of the guests you may not have heard that will be part of this event are Jessie J, Roger Taylor from Queen, members of Pink Floyd, Adele and actor/comedian Russell Brand. Brand is scheduled to sing “We Are the Champions” with members of Queen. It should make for a fun and historic way to close out these 2012 London Olympics.
Viewers had mixed feelings about the London Olympics opening ceremony, with some feeling that parts were a bit too much, and others loving the overall look and feel. It included some great comedic bits and segments from the likes of the Queen, James Bond, and Mr. Bean. What will be in store when the London Olympics closing ceremony goes live online?
