Longwood Gardens, Kennette Square, PA

I’ve posted about the tulips, and the orchids here and here, so I thought I’d show you some other scenes from my tour of Longwood Gardens during my visit back home last week.  I have a lot more flowers and trees to share, but I thought I’d take a break from them and give you an overall view of the grounds and buildings.

There’s a pretty large topiary that’s very pretty and well kept.  I just love the way they cut birds onto the tops of these bushes.

Waterfall by the bell tower.

Bell Tower, it rings every fifteen minutes.

A nice area outside one of the buildings where you can just sit and rest and enjoy the scenery.

There are many pretty fountains throughout.

Inside the main exhibit area.

Ceiling from inside another display area where they have a perfume exhibit right now.  I’ll be sharing photos of all the beautiful perfume bottles in another photo essay.

This whole area is fountains which aren’t turned on until May.  It was still very pretty to see.

As you can see, the grounds cover many acres and there is a lot to see.
