Louisville vs. Kentucky Preview

The NCAA Mens Final Four kicks off today with a great game between Kentucky and Louisville. Both of these teams are trying to move on to the championship game and will face the winner of the Ohio State vs. Kansas game.

Louisville is coming off a closely contested game against Florida with a final score of 72-68. They are the number four seed coming into this game, and they will look to upset the highly talented Wildcats offense.

They have relied on Kuric for production on the offensive end. He is averaging 13.1 points per game. Another asset for the Cardinals has been Dieng. He is averaging 9.1 rebounds per game, and they will need more of the same in order to get key rebounds on both ends of the court.

Louisville has definitely impressed many throughout the tournament. They have an excellent opportunity to knock off the Wildcats today if they play smart and execute on both ends of the floor. They have an excellent rivalry with Kentucky, and it will be interested to see what unfolds today in the Final Four.

Many have picked them to win the whole tournament, but they can’t have any mental lapses if they want to beat the Cardinals today. They have relied on Lamb for production on the offensive end, who is averaging 16.8 points per game.

Davis has helped out with rebounds and is averaging 11 per game. They are lead under Calipari, a coach that has seen his fair share of Final Four appearances. He will need his players clicking on all cylinders if they want to make it to the championship game.

The winner of this game is set to take on the winner of Ohio State and Kansas, which goes down later today as well.
