When MTV announced that there would be a Teen Mom 3, viewers instantly started trying to figure out which girls from 16 & Pregnant would make the cut. Obviously, the network likes to have girls who each offer something different to the show.

In a recent interview, Maci Bookout dished about her co-stars and had the same viewpoint, saying, “I’ve always agreed with having each cast member on our show because every person has someone they can relate to.”

The original Teen Mom hit it out of the park with the four girls that they chose. Each girl’s story was different enough to bring viewers a different view. Fans of Maci Bookout watched as the sweet southern girl gave up her teen years and calmed down to take care of her son, Bentley.

Farrah Abraham didn’t get along with her mother very well and appealed to other viewers who were going through the same thing. Not only that, but she was also dealing with the death of her baby’s father which has been hard to watch.

Then, there is Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra who didn’t have their daughter with them because they chose adoption. Because of that, they were able to offer fans an in-depth look of the emotions that come along with the decisions.

Finally, there is Amber Portwood who is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for her drug abuse. While she has received some harsh criticism, Maci Bookout and all the girls from the show continue to support her.

Of course, there is one thing between these three stories and Maci’s, and that is support. Maci further explained in the interview that she doesn’t feel like Amber or the other girls get enough credit for the things that they have handled with the little support that they had. In fact, many of the girls, Maci included, have been ridiculed for their struggles and choices. Luckily, they have all had the opportunity to share their stories and hopefully impact the lives of their fans.
