Mamaliga Cu Smantana – Romanian Polenta & Sour Cream

4 c Milk
3 1/2 tb Unsalted butter
2 c Quick-cooking cornmeal
Kosher salt & black pepper to taste
1 c Feta cheese crumbled fine
1 c Sour cream
Butter a pie dish then set aside.
Bring milk & butter to a boil in a 4-qt. saucepan over high heat.
Add corn meal, salt & pepper while you whisk constantly.
Cook for 5-6 mins. until thickened & corn meal is cooked through.
Stir in 1/2 of feta then transfer to a greased 9″ pie dish.
Allow to cool until set.
Top with remaining feta then garnish with sour cream before serving.
