The excitement continues to build for March Madness 2010, with the 2010 Men’s NCAA basketball Tournament scheduled to start on Thursday.Â A play-in game has already been held to determine the 64th team in the field.Â The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff defeated Winthrop 61-44 to earn their trip to this year’s Big Dance, and a date with the #1 seed, Duke.Â Take a look at the rest of the NCAA Men’s Basketball bracket for 2010 and print out yours here at March Madness.
In the Midwest (St. Louis region), Kansas is the 1 seed and starts with Lehigh (22-10).Â Kansas has lost just 2 games all season and is the early tournament favorite to win it all.Â They’ll contend with #2 Ohio St., #3 Georgetown, and #4 Maryland, among the top teams in their region.
Out West in the Salt Lake City region, it’s Syracuse with the 1 seed playing Vermont in Round 1. The #2 seed is Kansas State, #3 is Pitt, and #4 is Vanderbilt with a record of 24-8.Â Each of these four squads would love to earn a trip to Indianapolis in early April.
In the East for the Syracuse region of the NCAA bracket, Kentucky holds the #1 spot.Â They start off with Eastern Tennessee State in game 1.Â Other top seeds in their bracket include #2 West VA, #3 New Mexico and #4 Wisconsin.
Finally, in the South or Houston region, the Duke Blue Devils hold the #1 seed.Â They will start with UAPB (winner of play-in) in Round 1.Â The South’s other top seeds include #2 Villanova, #3 Baylor and #4 Purdue.
Those are just 16 of this year’s 64 best NCAA men’s basketball teams.Â Four of these 64 will make it to the Final Four in Indianapolis on April 3, with the championship game to be played on April 5.Â
