100 years ago today, Mark Twain died. He had one final request, no one could publish his biography for 100 years. Now, his biography, which is nearly 5,000 pages long, is set to be published.

Penned 100 years ago, Mark Twain’s biography has been sitting at the University of California, Berkeley, library. The book is set to be published in November.

The Daily Caller reports that the book has any shocking revelations, that one would only admit too when they have been dead for a century.

Experts say that Twain withheld publication of his autobiography, because many of his views were controversial, and he didn’t want to disturb his public image. Whatever Twain’s reasoning for withholding the book, and whatever ‘shocking’ revelations lay inside, Mark Twain’s biography is sure to be a fun and humorous read.

Mark Twain was a humorist, who wrote timeless novels. His wit and humor have created the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, an award that only 12 comics have won. Tina Fey will become the 13th.
