Megan Duskey, a special needs teacher plunged to her death during a Halloween Party this past Saturday night. Many of us know that thousands of people dress up and go out for the highly celebrated holiday. It has become a tradition for some, who look forward to the fesitivities all year long!

Miss Duskey, 23, was attending a Halloween ball at Chicago’s Palmer House Hilton Hotel. The Chicago Breaking News Center reported that Duskey was dressed as the Silk Spectre, who some of us may know from the comic book film Watchmen. This special needs teacher Megan Duskey plunged to her death after only being at the hotel for around a half an hour. Allegedly Miss Duskey was attempting to slide down a stair rail when she lost her balance and fell four stories. The accident occurred at approximately 10:30 P.M. on Saturday and police say that alcohol did not appear to be a factor.

Miss Duskey’s family have paid tribute to her, describing her as someone who was ready to make a difference. Hotel officials have refused to comment and police will further their investigation. Was this incident merely an accident? Or do you think there may have been some sort of foul play involved? Whichever the case may be, it is a terrible tragedy for the friends and family of Miss Duskey, whose kind and considerate heart touched the lives of so many.
