Michael Jackson’s doctor will be charged with involuntary manslaughter. Associated Press has learned that Los Angeles Prosecutors are prepared to seek an indictment of involuntary manslaughter against Conrad Murray in Michael Jackson’s death. Michael Jackson died at his LA home in June while under Murray’s care. Several drugs were found at his home. Among them was propofol, and Jackson’s autopsy showed  that Jackson died of acute propofol intoxication. Murray has denied that he prescribed or administered anything that should have killed Michael Jackson.

The district attorney’s office is waiting for the LA police to turn over the case before presenting it to a grand jury. The timing of an indictment will be decided based on how long it takes for the district attorney’s office to conduct an internal review of the evidence and when the grand jury will be available to hear the case. Murray was not available for a comment.
