Miley Cyrus Believes She Inspired ‘Wedding Bells’ by The Jonas Brother

The Jonas Brothers’ new song, Wedding Bells, has people talking and not just because the brothers are making music together again. No, the focus of this song seems to be about who inspired it rather than who is singing it. For days, there have been rumors floating around that Miley Cyrus influenced the song, and now she is speaking out about it, and you won’t believe what she has to say!

Not only does Cyrus believe that the song is about her, she also feels that it is “pretty blatant.” According to Gossip Cop, Cyrus revealed her feelings about the song to Ryan Seacrest, and while some people may have been upset by the song, Cyrus seems pretty okay with it.

She told Seacrest, “Everyone has to write songs that are about things that they felt… So, you can’t ever hate on someone for writing about something you’ve been through. I think that you kind of get a fair warning when you date an artist and someone that’s a writer. When you’re going through things that you’re going to end up hearing about it on the radio.”

It is good that Miley isn’t really taking the song to heart. Taylor Swift has used her celebrity exes as inspiration for her countless country hits (there is even one about her relationship with Joe Jonas!), so it isn’t too shocking that other artists are giving it a try as well.

There are reports that Liam Hemsworth is “angry” by the song, but the same source who said that also claimed that Miley Cyrus didn’t think she was the inspiration to the Jonas Brothers song, either. While they were obviously wrong on that one, it isn’t clear what Liam Hemsworth’s true feelings are—yet.
