Miley Cyrus Has New Haircut Lover Besides Liam Hemsworth, and She’s One ‘Modern’ Girl!

Miley Cyrus may be embroiled in a rumored Twitter war with her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth. But fans and followers alike would probably agree that the provocative entertainer cannot and should not leave the Twitter-verse; how else would she garner attention for her boundaries-pushing ways or show off, say, a bold new, peroxide-hued haircut that’s one part androgyny and one part punk-rock, all mixed with a rebel edge.

Despite getting mixed reviews, Hemsworth firmly stood behind Cyrus’ recent new ‘do. And, now, her daring crop really seems to be making waves and setting trends. Modern Family starlet Sarah Hyland happens to be one of the newest fans of the quiff.

“I do. I do. It’s really, really growing on me,” Hyland gushed of the hairstyle to Hollywood Life at the 10th anniversary party for Teen Vogue‘s Young Hollywood issue with Emporio Armani. “She looks hot,” the actress added, although she desperately denied ever being able to pull off such a look herself.

Case in point, she looked stunningly chic and edgy at the recent 2012 MTV Video Music Awards and the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival.

And it’s that precise bold beauty that seems to be rubbing off on the rest of the starlet set. Aside from Hyland’s high praise, Lena Dunham from HBO hit series, Girls, recently cited Miley Cyrus as inspiration for her own new dramatic pixie cut. Alex Fmka also said she looks “so amazing;” and none other than Paris Jackson just premiered her own Cyrus-esque pompadour (although, it’s reportedly just a wig) on Twitter.

There may be a method to Cyrus’ madness–and her unapologetic individuality–after all. It’s sheer genius!
