Mitt Romney Slams Obama for Many Failures

Mitt Romney is bashing President Barack Obama for falling down on the job.

“A few years ago, Americans did something that was, actually, very much the sort of thing Americans like to do: We gave someone new a chance to lead, someone we hadn’t known for very long, who didn’t have much of a record but promised to lead us to a better place,” the former governor of Massachusetts said during his first day as a formal candidate for the White House.

“At the time, we didn’t know what sort of a president he would make… Now, in the third year of his four-year term, we have more than promises and slogans to go by,” he added in a speech released to the press, according to Yahoo! News.

Romney is smartly highlighting his breadth of experience over the untested Obama. It’s no shock Obama has failed miserably in leading the nation out of the wretched economy. He had no executive or business background coming into office.

The obstacles America now face are many. Home prices continue to fall, job creation is non-existent, and two-thirds of Americans fear the government will run out of cash. Romney, however, turned around the corrupt 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, won in Massachusetts as a Republican, and had great success in the private sector.

Sarah Palin, meanwhile, is continuing her bus tour of historical American places. She is scheduled for a New Hampshire appearance Thursday.
