Mitt Romney to Dine with President Obama at the White House

Mitt Romney was invited to the White House by President Obama for what will most likely be their most extensive meeting ever. It is a nice bipartisan effort being made by Obama; but considering the nasty accusations about Romney made by the Obama campaign, it is somewhat surprising that Obama would associate himself with an outsourcing felon who didn’t pay his taxes for ten years and kills cancer patients.

Who would want to associate with someone like that? He is an evil vulture capitalist!

MSNBC reported Romney will be at the White House for a Thursday luncheon, which will most likely be closed to the press. Wouldn’t you like to be a fly on the wall for this meeting? Will they be discussing the fiscal cliff negotiations? Will they be discussing ways to bridge the nasty partisan divide that has worsened during the Obama administration?

While in Washington, Mitt Romney will also be meeting with his former running mate, Paul Ryan, who is also currently entrenched in the fiscal cliff talks. One of the major issues on the table is whether to let the Bush-era tax cuts expire for those who make over $250,000 per year. The move would hurt economic growth, according to the Congressional Budget Office; however, that has not stopped the President and his allies for pushing for the tax, for purposes of “fairness”.
