Mitt Romney’s Best Ad

With the election just days away, Mitt Romney’s camp has released an advertisement that may just be his best. The ad was filmed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Morrison, Colorado on October 23rd and features flashes of the huge crowd, estimated at 10,000. Up until last night, where he drew a crowd of over 17,000 supporters in Englewood, it had been his biggest Colorado rally. Political rallies seem to be drawing crowds like music concerts this election year, and this was no exception! The rally featured Kid Rock and Rodney Atkins performing, Colorado Rockies hero Todd Helton and New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez.

The video focuses on the high energy of the crowd. In the background, vocal clips from television coverage of the event describe how some people walked four miles to see the Republican candidate. They mention the huge traffic jam and that they had to turn people away because of overflow. Clips of both Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan’s speeches are shown with the crowd going wild. It’s clear by watching the crowd that Romney has gained momentum with his supporters, hopefully enough to get him into office. Romney says, “Paul and I can handle two more weeks of attacks, but I don’t think America can handle four more years like the last four years.”

In the midst of months of attack ads and negative jabs, the ad is a refreshing and optimistic change to take people into Election Day.
