The Maybach Music Group has their new MMG “Self Made Vol. 2″ album free online for fans to listen to ahead of the official download release date. The upcoming album featuring Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Wale, and others is currently live streaming online.
According to Hip Hop DX, the new album was put on live stream just today and features all 14 tracks from the new follow-up collaborative effort. Included on the songs are guests such as Nas, T.I., Bun B, Kendrick Lamar, T-Pain, and others. MMG consists of founder Rick Ross along with rappers Wale, Stalley, Meek Mill, and singer Omarion. It is the record label originally created by Ross which includes a staple of artists. It seems as if Ross, or those behind marketing for the new LP, decided giving the fans a free listen would be good for business.
Some may question this sort of move, since the album is due out for sale and download online Tuesday, June 26th. However, these days almost every new rap album gets leaked online by someone else, so why not leak it yourself. If nothing else, it may catch more people’s attention and get them buying themselves a copy this Tuesday.
Rick Ross and crew will hope that the new MMG album, “Self Made Vol. 2,” achieves success like its 2011 predecessor. That album reached as high as #5 on the U.S. Billboard charts and sold over 200,000 units. To hear the new MMG album live streaming for free online, head over to this YouTube video.
