The Movie Awards 2011 live stream included the building of the red carpet set, piece by piece up until tonight’s show. MTV doesn’t stop its coverage of the awards show with just the red carpet and TV presentation. There’s also going to be an exclusive VIP Pass through various apps for mobile phones that allows viewers to see backstage. This special pass for MTV is available via iTunes apps store, Android market and as an MTV app. These special apps are perfect companions for viewers as they watch tonight’s show on TV. More information is available about VIP Pass at MTV.com.

The 2011 MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by “SNL” and movie star, Jason Sudeikis, and feature the likes of Blake Lively, Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester as presenters. The latest “Twilight” film will be unveiled and its three major stars will be among those in the audience and possibly receiving awards. Foo Fighters will be at least one of the musical acts.

As noted above there will be an MTV live carpet stream. Unfortunately, there will not be any official MTV Movie Awards 2011 live stream online for the actual show, unless viewers are running cable TV service through their computers. Otherwise, viewers will need to turn on the television, set it to MTV around 9PM EST and enjoy the show!
