Nature Made Wellness Rewards Program Review

Filed in Gather Family Essential by on February 4, 2010 0 Comments

I’ve been a member of the Wellness Rewards Program by Nature Made for a couple of years already. Nature Made together with Gather asked us for our experiences with the Nature Made Wellness Rewards Program if we are also using Vitamin D and I am only too happy to spill the beans.

When I stumbled across a coupon offer for Nature Made Vitamins on the web  www.naturemade.com I discovered their rewards program and joined, because I like saving money, especially on things that I can really use.

Last week I received an e-mail titled “Happy Birthday from Nature Made” awarding me 25 bonus points for my birthday. How cool is that?

(In fact, I always thought gather should consider giving some extra points on your birthday – we all like presents:)

The program is simple, you buy any Nature Made product, they all have a code on every bottle and supplement package. You enter the code on their website and voila, rewards points for every purchase made. It’s like free money, up to seven bucks.

I started buying Vitamin D some time last year, then a couple of months later my girlfriend mentioned that Vitamin D is even more effective if taken together with Vitamin C and so I added daily Vitamin C.

I already knew about the benefits of Vitamin D and Vitamin C, but I do feel better since taking both together. As we are getting older we both feel it is essential to add vitamins and minerals to our daily regimen to maintain and improve our general health.

Here is the current data on Vitamin D:

Vitamin D provides many benefits to the body, and is vital to human health. One of its key roles is in protecting your immune health. This key nutrient also provides other benefits to the body, such as:

  • Supporting proper absorption of calcium for building and maintaining strong bones and teeth.
  • Maintaining breast, colon and prostate health.
  • Maintaining joint and muscle comfort.
  • Promoting a healthy mood and brain function.
  • Supporting a healthy pregnancy and baby. All infants (breast-fed and bottle-fed) should receive 400 IU of vitamin D from birth, according to new recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
  • www.vitamindcouncil.com has more information.

I’ve been a fan of Nature Made Vitamins for years mainly because of the proven quality of their products and lost no time convincing my boyfriend to switching to the Nature Made brand.

We think it is smart to watch our pennies and look for coupons in the paper and try to purchase our vitamins whenever Walgreens or CVS or other stores have a buy one get one free deal. The rewards program is just another great bonus from a great company.

I’ve also noticed that they continually develop and upgrade their products like offering liquid gels which are easier to swallow and better absorbed by our bodies.

There you have it – go sign up at Nature Made Wellness Rewards it’s a good deal and good for you!
