Chicago won the most regular season games in the NBA for the second straight season, but injuries in the playoffs cost this team a shot at winning a title and now the time has come to make some roster changes.
Carlos Boozer has not played his best basketball for the Bulls and the fans, front office, and team mates could all be looking for a change. Boozer is still a solid power forward, but after moving from Utah, its likely the pressure of playing in a big city hurt his game the last two years.
Boozer was mentioned in trade rumors before the deadline this past season and now he is rumored on the move again. The latest from Paul Grossinger of Bleacher Report suggests they make a deal with Toronto for Andrea Bargnani.
Both these players have under-performed and a change in scenery is possibly the best option. The Raptors would get a veteran that could help bring along the young front-court players in Toronto and Chicago would be better off without the distraction Boozer has become with his play.
This summer should see plenty of activity around the NBA and Chicago is one team likely to make a few moves. Trading Boozer is what the fans want and the team could actually use the move to make another run at a championship next season.
